Budget Update

At Monday’s budget approval meeting, the Club Board and trustees agreed on the playing component of the 2025-26 budget. The figure agreed will be broadly in-line with seasons 2022-23 and 2023-24. The purpose of ring-fencing this component of the budget is to provide certainty and to allow the first team to crystalise their recruitment plans for the upcoming campaign.”

“It is recognised that the wider budget requires further work, to satisfy the trustees as to its sustainability and deliverability. Further discussions will take place in the coming days, and we aim to provide a further update next week.”

SEASON TICKETS

Celebrate 150 Years of Partick Thistle with the ‘Jags for Generations’ Season Ticket

This year, Partick Thistle celebrates a truly historic milestone — our 150th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, we’re proud to launch the ‘Jags for Generations’ Season Ticket, giving every supporter the chance to be part of a landmark season in style.

As always, a Season Ticket offers the best value for watching Thistle at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill, with access to all 18 home fixtures in the 2025/26 William Hill Championship. But this year, we’ve gone a step further.

Supporters can now enhance their experience with our Anniversary Add-On — a special bundle of extras worth over £150, available for just £50 when purchased alongside any season ticket. Numbers are limited so do get in early if you don’t want to miss out!

What’s Included in the ‘Jags for Generations’ Anniversary Add-On?

  • A limited-edition 150th anniversary pin badge

  • Two Bring-a-Friend Tickets, so you can share the matchday magic — bring two people to one game, or one person to two. Redeemable at any league game you like!

  • Full access to Jagzone, our revamped online TV channel packed with exclusive Thistle content and special anniversary content all season long (2025/26 standalone price: £95.88 – £7.99per month)

  • Priority access to high-demand cup ties or away fixtures that may require ballots or be all-ticket

  • Access to attend a First Team Training Session – date to be confirmed

Exclusive Hospitality Offer

Separate from the ‘Jags for Generations’ Season Ticket, there will be the option at checkout to take advantage of a special offer entitling you to three places at hospitality for just £200 at any game before the end of September! (Only 50 spaces available).

For supporters who did not opt for the Jags for Generations Additional-Add ons when they purchased their Season Ticket but now wish to do so, this can be arranged by contacting the club via [email protected] or phoning 0141 579 1971 during office hours.

Jagzone subscribers who do not wish to move to the Jags for Generations package will continue to pay a monthly subscription of £5.99 until August 1 when it will rise to £7.99

VACANCIES

Drumchapel Amateurs Charity Event 2025

Our much-loved volunteer groundsman David Patey also gives his time to Drumchapel Amateurs, and when he asked for our help in supporting a day to celebrate the life of Tyla Neve Malone, we didn’t hesitate.

The event takes place this Saturday, 21st June at Glenhead Park and promises a day full of football, community, and kindness, all in aid of Epilepsy Scotland.

If you’re able, please head along and lend your support.

NEW SIGNING

Partick Thistle sign Paddy Reading from Ayr United!

Left sided defender Paddy Reading, who started his career at Middlesbrough, joins The Jags on a two-year contract after a free transfer that contains future performance related conditional payments was agreed between the clubs, subject to Scottish FA approval.

The now 25-year-old spent five years at the Honest Men after joining them from Stevenage in 2020.

During his time with the Somerset Park club Paddy picked up four caps for the Scotland under-21 side, as well as featuring in over 180 senior matches, and he found the net three times with one of his strikes winning an Ayrshire Derby against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

BRIAN GRAHAM

Good bye for now!

Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to all the Thistle supporters, from day one  you took to me and I will never forget it. Not just me but my family loved their Saturday afternoons in the Lambie stand with all the red and yellow army.

We had highs and lows along the journey from covid relegation to winning League One then obviously all the play-off drama.

It was an honour to Captain the football club and be the league top scorer plus winning the Championship player of the year award, all the goals throughout the 5 years.  But the 2 goals against Ayr as 99 and 100 were very special and will live with me for the rest of my life.

It’s emotional leaving the football club, a place I fell in love with. I would like to thank my teammates plus the staff for all their help across the years, special mention to the kitmen Macca and Danny, two fantastic men. We had great laughs together and also Graham McRoberts, wasn’t just a colleague he became a friend along the way. Can’t leave without saying about young Christopher Dobie, he’s a very quiet lad but great at his job. When the players had their darts tournaments seeing Christopher come out his shell was amazing, he’s a great kid and wish him well.

I would also like to thank Ian McCall and Jacqui Low for signing me for this great club plus it was them that pushed me in the direction to take on the Woman’s manager role which I absolutely loved. Great memories made along the way.

Lastly, good luck going forward, I wish Mark and the squad all the best, once a Jag always a Jag.

Thank you.

Brian Graham
