RAITH ROVERS
Next Up: Partick Thistle vs Raith Rovers
Saturday 30 August | Wyre Stadium at Firhill | 3:00 PM
The Jags return to Firhill this weekend as William Hill Championship action continues with the visit of Raith Rovers.
It’s another important fixture for Mark Wilson’s side, who will be aiming to build further momentum following two wins out of two. With strong Red and Yellow Army backing and the opportunity to climb the table, the players will be determined to put in a big performance on Saturday afternoon.
Raith, meanwhile, make the journey west with ambitions of their own, looking to test themselves in what promises to be a highly competitive encounter. Both sides will be eager to seize the initiative in the early stages of the campaign, setting the scene for another lively afternoon in Maryhill.
Scottish Championship | Saturday 4 March 2023 | Wyre Stadium at Firhill, Glasgow
Partick Thistle ended Raith’s 14-game unbeaten run in emphatic fashion, turning in a commanding performance at Firhill. Scott Tiffoney opened the scoring just before half-time, before Brian Graham doubled the advantage early in the second half. Tiffoney then struck again, converting from a Steven Lawless assist, to wrap up the points.
The result stretched Thistle’s unbeaten run to four matches and strengthened their promotion push, while Raith slipped further from the play-off places.
The stage is set for another big afternoon at Firhill. Let’s get right behind the lads as they look to deliver another winning performance in the Championship.

International duty results in Queen’s Park Fixture Postponement
The club can confirm that, as a result of three international call-ups in our first team, our upcoming William Hill Championship fixture against Queen’s Park at the city Stadium has been postponed.
The match, which was scheduled to take place in 11 days’ time on Saturday, 6th September, will be rearranged due to international involvement in the Thistle squad with Ts’oanelo Lets’osa and Ben McPherson announced as part of the Scotland Men’s Under 21s squad and Josh Clarke called up by Northern Ireland’s under-21’s.
Details regarding the new date for the game will be shared in due course.

TJF
The Jags Foundation support Stevie Lawless Testimonial
Less than twenty-four hours after their hero coolly slotted home his penalty against Ross County, Stevie Lawless’ supporters were recreating his effort – at Footgolf in Cumbernauld.
The fans along with players and sponsors were playing "FootGolf" as part of the celebrations and charity fund-raising for Stevie's Testimonial Season. The Jags Foundation was there to lend a hand (foot?), as they sponsored one of the eighteen holes.

There will be more collaborations between TJF and Stevie's Testimonial Committee in the coming weeks: watch this space for more details.
Congratulations to Nathan Kirby who eagled the first hole with this magnificent chip.
Thank you to everyone who came to our FootGolf Day today! 🙌
Our Shot Of The Day goes to Nathan Kirby, who EAGLED the 1st, with this chip in. 🦅
The best round we've heard so far is a 66 (-6). 6️⃣6️⃣
Can you better either the Eagle or the Round of 66? 📈

JAGZONE
Jags for Generations and Jagzone Update
Over 560 people (22% of all Season Ticket Holders) took advantage of The Jags for Generations 2025/26 Season Ticket Offer that included the opportunity to add on additional benefits such as a 150th Anniversary Pin badge, bring two friends to a game free, Jagzone for the season, an invitation to watch a First Team Training Session and priority access to ballots for Match Tickets for a one-off fee of £50.
Whilst the Training Session and ballot benefits have still to be activated, Pin Badges remain available at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill, and emails can be sent to [email protected] to organise the free match tickets.
Jagzone has seen an over 50% rise in subscribers as a result of The Jags for Generations offer and the club would like to use the following slides to give more information on that success as well as confirm the first ever increase in the monthly cost for our in-house service.

This bar chart shows the growth in total Jagzone subscribers over the last four months - starting with just over 700 and now having close to 1100. The Jags for Generations subscribers grew month on month and existing subscribers dropped as people moved across to a Jags for Generations subscription.

This pie chart confirms the make-up of the 566 Jags for Generations subscribers that were in place last week. This summer’s campaign created 254 new subscribers, enticed 106 former subscribers to come back and over 206 existing subscribers moved across by making the one-off payment as opposed to monthly payments.

This slide shows both the history and future of paying for Jagzone whether you are a monthly subscriber or a Jags for Generations subscriber.
September will see monthly subscriptions increase to the £7.99 figure that was mentioned when Jags for Generations launched.
It is the first time that the monthly price has been increased in nearly a decade.
You do not need to do anything to facilitate this change as it will be done automatically by the club.
All new Jagzone subscribers from September 1 will be charged £7.99 per month.
If you have any queries over any transactions with Jagzone please email [email protected] who will look into it.
Jags for Generations option
We are conscious that there is still a period of time where purchasing the additional add-ons for a Jags for Generations Season Ticket (£50) remains cheaper than the combined cost of monthly payments for Jagzone.
This period runs out in November 2025 and if anyone wishes to take advantage of this, we would ask them to either email [email protected] or call the club on 0141 579 1971.

JAGS FOR GOOD
Jags for Good live up to their name with Season Ticket success
Partick Thistle’s attendances for William Hill Championship matches at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill this season will be increased by over 100 people thanks to the Jags for Good Season Ticket Fundraiser.
The combined efforts of Jags for Good, Partick Thistle supporters and Partick Thistle players raised over £5,000, which was matched by the club, and then used to provide season tickets to local charities and Jags fans who are struggling with the cost of living.
In total 104 Season Tickets were provided and that meant 10 individuals and people from across 14 charities were able to start watching Thistle this season at the recent home game against Greenock Morton.
